Atlanta-based nonprofit Gideon’s Promise is holding an intensive training session at the University of Mississippi School of Law for the newest class of public defenders undergoing their three-year rigorous program.

Gideon’s Promise is dedicated to churning out highly trained public defenders who are better able to efficiently operate in a justice system that often seems to be stacked against them and the clients they serve. This is the group’s second year in a row to hold an introductory session at the UM School of Law.
